I think the nylon would need to be thin. i don't think nylon can hold that stress. the best way would be to use an M6 setscrew with a flat head. You can't get a stronger setup and a larger contact area on the shaft than that.

A perfect fit cup (with the slot) and a thru-pin should have the same effect.
