Why not fabricate a wheelie bar that is almost touching the ground when flat? Kinda like a dragster.

You might also want to try reducing some of the power settings on the ESC. That way you won't have as much punch on take-off. Sure it will take longer to get to high speed, but less than it takes getting to high speed on its lid! :)
