. the outer part of the bearing is loose in the motor can. both bearings. if you pull the armature in and out the bearings move with the armature.

what do you mean "lock it up" loctite? stake the can and press the bearing back in?
I would think new bearings are in order for starters. MIKEEEEEE!:-)
