Ofna and maximizer both make adapters to put 17mm hub wheels (1/8 buggy) on your maxx. I have the Ofna adapters along with ofna buggy wheels and tires, and they work great. I did a lot of testing a while back trying to put 2.2 wheels on the maxx with no success. Theyre all too small to clear the knuckles. The jato rear wheels would probably work with a drilled out 12mm hex hub to accommodate the larger maxx axles. I havent bothered to do this because I dont like any of the 2.8 inch tires made right now.
