Mike, i dont see why a neu would be a problem, the rear would be sealed, and the front may have some holes but the motor mount will almost give it a tight seal ; plus you forgot that G-forces on the truck/buggy when it is turning. That plays a big role on how much sand really gets into your toy! :)
