Hi,

Some updates. I think I have finally managed to tame this beast. I swapped out the Quark for a BK warrior 9920. Dropped 1 tooth to 15T. From the brief run on Saturday, the max amp draw was around 70A (using eagletree data logger) & max esc temp was 70 deg C (for a short period only not sure what happened there) but mainly hovered around 40 to 45 deg C. A few minutes into the test, I busted my rear left shock. However, in a short time, I managed to draw 2100mah from the battery.

Sunday came & I did another run. The truck was very quick & punchy & I had some difficulty controlling it (maybe need some shock tuning). The esc temp was stable between 45 to 45 deg c (used a temp gun to check after every few laps). Ran the truck until there was a noticable drop in performance. All this took around 8 to 10 minutes of hard driving around a relatively technical but smooth track (mostly large radius bends with a few tight 180 degree trurns & a few jumps). Turned out that one of my lipo has ballooned. Time to get some lipos from Mike.

Happy & sad all rolled into one.

Regards,
Joe Ling
