Thanks for all the info guys. I am now leaning towards the Mamba Max ESC, 8XL motor, UBEC, on a 4s 8000 pack. i am hoping this will give me around 30 minutes of run time at around 45mph. Hopefully i'll be able to change the gearing to my liking as well.

BOR - I am not really sure how Mike will do the motor mount, since he hasn't even recieved the buggy yet.
