Sorry to hear about your accident, man. Hope it's not too serious.
However, enjoy your time off.
This bumpsteer, well, I guess it could be eliminated. You can adjust the bump steer on a revo by tuning the position of the tierod on the knuckle.
I know the Maxx knuckles are not made for this, but have a look at a revo, might just give you an idea.
Something to check, though: Are you sure you mounted the tierod's rodend on the right side of the knuckle's mounting tab. (you can do it from above or below) Choosing the wrong position would give you horrible bump steer.
Gotta check mine tonight, but I thought bumpsteer in the rear is barely noticeable on a Maxx.
