Run a more efficient setup and you don't need fans on the motor to start with. (neu) the speedo might need a fan, but with a fan the problem is solved allready. Which weights less than a fluid cooled system.

With 'too small' i meant the radiator. You might need a fan on the radiator to do its job, and with that, you are just transporting heat. (which is the basic of a liquid cooled system, transport heat to a larger area/different place )
