There is a local track I want to drive at, everyone there is running 1/8 scale buggies or truggies. I have drive my 100% stock e-Maxx there, but it is lacking!
I was thinking about the Ofna 1/8 Ultra MBX R2 Buggy 80% Prebuilt kit, is this a good conversion canidate?
Thanks

If you still want to do the Ofna MBX R2 I have one sitting at home already converted. Its a rolling chassis but has a motor mount and carbon fiber battery tray already made for it. The tray is designed for lipo 3700mah, 4350mah , 4900mah, or 5000mah Enerland cells. I was running it on 4s track and 5s bashing.
Right now its just a rolling chassis cuz I took the electronics out of it and put them in my Matrix. Let me know if your interested. All you would need to do is get a motor and electronics for it and you would be ready to roll. I added some additional chassis bracing to it cuz it seems a little flimsy to me. The chassis braces could be done better but its a very solid start. The thing is practiaclly brand new only 4 or 5 packs have been run on it. A couple hours total run time maximum. I even have a ton of spare parts for it. (just about enough to build a 2nd complete buggy) I built it and ran it a few times and then was wanting something a little higher end and I found a good deal on a Cen Matrix rolling chassis so I jumped on it and converted it.
I was actually thinking about tossing it up on ebay in the next few weeks. Let me know if your interested.
BTW: I'm on the road all week this week for work so I wouldn't be able to get you any pictures until next weekend. But its not going anywhere.
I can't decide if its more fun
to make it...
or break it...
