Fan on the MMM V1/V2 - 08.14.2008, 01:42 AM

The ones that i know of that are working (V1) on and on and on made one mod, that was to remove the fan and do the open case mod.... i know this will void the warranty, but it seems that the MMM doesnt break down..... the only thing is that one shouldnt gear to tought when you dont have a fan.... The 2 i know of that has been driving their MMM v1 without problems has them in 1/8 buggys geared at about 35mph.... The temps are very low on the esc, maybe 50 degres centerade. This is without a fan......

I know that the V2 has some kind of fan-control so the fan does´nt start if the ESC i´snt hot enough.
BUT what will happen if you have been driving for while, the esc gets hot, some dirt is in the fan so the fan is stuck, will the internal BEC on the V2 go up in smoke?
