i have a recurring problem with my mmm v3 esc battery plugs.the black plug gets hot to the point it melts the join between the wire and the plug and the plug comes off.doesnt happen all the time just every now and then. motor and esc temps are fine and is the 4s battery temp. have been running 60-100% boost control.

any ideas?

Probably a bad connection inside the bullet. Try to carefully bend the prongs outward a tiny bit on the male bullet so that it will make better contact.

Heat = resistance - do that or re-solder the connection...
