can this spray safely be used on esc circutboards ?

sure, but it will retain heat and could cause your esc to thermal

it's an mmm esc that i'd like to be able to use for snow bashing so the aittemp will be cold ! and i'm going to spray a thincote. That chould be ok right ?

might not come off w/o pulling resistors and stuff with it, but it'd definitely seal it up

Didnt happen to watch that video made my Brian Dilbeck AKA Squirrel over at The Toyz forum did you? Warrenty void if you do the mod, so only do it if the esc is a V1, V2 or over 12months old (or you dont care about the warrenty). Had an unpleasant exchange with him on youtube, not happy or impressed about...

Squirrel D*ck, that dude is a tool!!! Gotta love the BS "vids" he makes. Lots of good info, and some of it is even true! I gave up on the toyz forum, too many people over there that need to be on the traxxas forum.

I live in sweden so it takes forever to send in a esc to castle for warrantyrepair so i won'tdo that

i just what to be able to bash during the winter without having to replace my esc all the time !

The esc choulden'tbe oveheated because i'll not coat the heatsink !
And to improve cooling i'll cut the plasticcover to increase the airflow...

Why dont you just glue a piece of plastic over the fan grill. Just use a couple dots of something like hot glue so that it can be removed fairly easy. You could possibly even do a couple little spacers under it so the fan can actually suck some amount of air....?
