Phoenix-10 capacitor - 10.08.2011, 02:20 PM

Hi all,

I own an old Phoenix-10 ESC with Vishay and Toshiba fets.
I see the ESC 68 uF 25V cap has some dent and leakage.
Can I use my old Mamba-25 220 uF 25V cap for the Phoenix-10 ESC?

Thanks in advance.

Any electrolytic cap that is rated to 105C is supposed to be low esr. Now you can buy Ultra Low ESR caps from just about any online electronics supplier like Jameco which have an even lower ESR than your normal run of the mill 105C cap.
