After 4 years of MAMBA MONSTER, switching to MAMBA MONSTER 2 - 01.06.2014, 04:16 AM

Hello everyone,

I raced for 4 years with an half dozen of MM in my many 1:8 buggies/truggies without any issue, except case opening (which was my fault), so I would like to say "THANKS" to Castle Creastions first. I always was satisfied with Castle Creations support team
==> So, THANK YOU CASTLE !
During this years, I did of course many tests with different firmwares, the 1.24 version always give me the best results for racing.
I noticed different phenomens too, for example, if the ESC temperature goes near the thermal cutoff, it makes some cogging at start, proof that it's not very good for FETs. In my opinion the thermal cutoff is too high and does'nt totally protect the ESC from FETs degradation. The problem is maybie solved with last firmwares ??? The is the only main "issue" I encoutered.
The reliability of the fan is really random, some last a year with extreme racing/bashing, some other don't last a day with normal racing Strange ... And fan remplacement is really complicated, we need to open the ESC ... I hope it's improved in the MM2.

So, speaking of the MM2, I wil receive it in a few days, so I would like to get some informations about the best firmware to use for race/reliability...
Is the MM2 as bulletproof as the MM ?
Thanks you guys for your feedback , I hope that my english is understandable
