UE CVD's HELP HELP!!!! - 06.26.2006, 09:36 PM

I just got my 6mm UE drive shafts. They came with 14mm "hex" wheel hex nuts. The problem is, I run 23mm Proline adaptors on my wheels that are not hexed! How can I make these work? I want to use my 40 eries tires and rims that are 23 mm. Does dace make them so the 14mm hex nut goes inside that? I need help! thanks!

that is what you need. The dace works great with them.
That is the only wayI know of you can do it unless you make your own adapter for it.

The dace will take pretty much any 14 mm hex inside to make it 23mm. I thinking of going to them for my savage cause my pin has turned 90 degrees inside the proline hexes.

Well, then, you have plenty of torque! It seems they are worth it. I use the pro line 23mm now, my new UE axles are hexed on the end which totally emilinates the pins...so have to get the dace, which is fine cuz i should have "done it in the first place"

I run the dace on my ue. They are great. I don't have the problem i did with the prolines. I think you will like them better. If you have the proline wrench it works with the dace to. That is what i use.

Actually, I don't know why the Proline wrench would work...It's 23mm when the nut on the Daces is 22mm...

Well for one it is a 6 sided wrench and you don't have to kill it with a 2 foot rachet. :005: I use the proline wrench on mine all the time.
