i love my 1950 and my speed control isn't in car mode, you'll love that thing. i've got a 8t version on 6s lipo. i'm running a bk 12020 right now, but will be getting a quark 125b soon. the quark should give a lot better performance!

Very nice Captain! You will have a very beautiful ark! You will be amazed by the 1950! Looks like you are progressing very well.
The problem with nitro's these days are that they arent brushless... LOL

I'm sure the 1950/10 will impress me. However, it depends on the batteries. I'm saving for 6s 3700mah Evo20 lipos.
I'll be out for sometime and once I return I'll discuss somethings with you, guys.

I need torque over anything else. Mike sent me a 24T Mod1 pinion to use with the Strobe system. I believe I can get some decent speeds and runtime with this motor.

Ok, but if you need "torque" would you not want a smaller pinion?

The truck would be quite slow with a smaller pinion. At 24v I'm able to pull my truck beyond 50mph easily. The task would be even easier with lipos.

I see. I kinda figured that, but when you said TORQUE...i was a little confused at the pinion choice! Let me know what you think of the motor!
