Wheelie Bar - 04.09.2005, 06:12 PM

They Call Him Mini-Bar

I got bored last night. And decided to make a jerry rig wheelie bar. Took the turn buckles off the rusty, borrowed some airplane tires, used a stock shock, used some spur nuts and alittle thought.

The wheelie bar seems to work really well. I tried it out today and wow I was suprised. The wheelie bar has articulation however its just stiff enough to work perfectly. I couldn't be happier with it.

Heres some pics. Sorry about the quality I made a video of it and took some screen shots. My digital camera got up and walked away somewhere.

This is a side view of it.

Like I said its ghetto and only for fun. Check out the screw and zipties I used lol

Heres a pic of the articulation. It may seem like alot but the stiffness of it works out perfectly.

What do you think?

Pretty nice. I think I will try the same thing on my rustler.
