Talking Gotta New Toy!!! - 10.30.2006, 12:27 AM

Can't wait till it gets here but I've always wanted a monster truck. I figure it was a pretty good deal. I've been looking for weeks and then tonight, bam!:018: , someone listed this with a novak dual brushless setup and Futaba radio. I have an extra HV6.5 system, spektrum radio and with lipo's this should be fun.

Can anybody recommend some good monster truck or rock crawling website?

Sweet! Looks nice and clean. I'd also ditch the Rx pack for a UBEC though...

Yup, as soon as I get it I'll be ditching all the electronics, basically, everything in the middle. (reciever, batts, ESC's and motors, servo, etc.)

I just found out that I can use a E-maxx tranny in there and do the single speed conversion also!

A TXT-1 is a fun truck. I have one with a Ripper chassis powered by a 1930/6 running 8 or 9 cells it is a blast to drive.

Try www.clodtalk.com it is a good sight for straight axle trucks.

Thank you,

I'm not sure but I think I might go bling bling way with it. Lots of polished stuff.

Hey man nice car. I was watching those things( Either TXT or other big monster/rock crawler) at the last hobby expo and they looked cool. Let me know how it runs, jumps, how fast, and if it Super Fun to drive. Please show a video if you have the time. :004: :004:

It's coming along, still waiting by the mailbox everyday for something new. It's amazing how old the Clod is and there's a ton of stuff still out there for it. I've been finding it a little dificult to find parts for the TXT.

I love the articulation on this monster!
