It is likely to fly like a rocket, given that 1/10th staium trucks get up to a good speed on such a combo. Runtime, I am not sure, no doubt Mike, or someone will comment.

Fast for a while! seriously, the car could get 60+ pretty easily, and should get 10 minutes runtime as well.

It would be very good in a t4, although if you want more torque, the Lehner 4200 on 7-8 cells would also wake up the senses for sure.

I prefer the 4200 myself, with 7-8 cells. Even 9-10 cells if you dare!

I have been over 60 mph with my lehner 5300/ warrior 9918 in my traxxas bandit(buggy). This is only on 8 cells too. Way overgeared though.
On safe gearing it is around 50 mph maybe a little more on 8 cells.
Tons of fun!

Thanks for the info. The reason i was asking about the 5300 was i am going to run the kokam scorpion 7.4v packs and i wanted to get as much out of each volt i could. Would the 4200 still run good with the scorpions?

If you're racing on a track, you'll never get to the top end of the 4200 :)
I had an xl4200 and MGM12012 in my XXX-T MF. With 6 nimh cells the only time I ever got it to full speed was in about 100 ft of parking lot space. 2s lipo will be about the same top speed with much better accelleration. The xl4200 will be all I ever need for racing. If I want to break the sound barrier I'll try the 5000 or 5300 :)
