Converting kg/cm to ounces for servo specs - 02.20.2008, 02:26 AM

How do I convert the kg/cm of torque for a servo to ounces/inch of torque? For example what would 15kg/cm convert to? Thanks.

I found this. Is this correct?

1 in = 2.54 cm
1 oz = 0.0283 kg
1 cm = 0.394 in
1 kg = 35.2 oz.

So 1 kg.cm = 1 x 35.2 oz/kg x 0.39 in/cm = 13.7 oz.in.

For a servo that has 15kg.cm @ 6v

15kg.cm X 13.7 oz.in = 205.5 oz.in
