nope. probably not a good idea. I run my MLST with one of those Wraith 7000kv motors. I have yet to find a diff solution to hold up. I can get a month or two from the MLST2 diffs, no more. This is with quark 33a procar, 7.4v 2000mAh TP Prolite, and the Wraith 7k.

I do love my MLST though. It's a whole lot of fun.

The smallest pinion that makes everything fit is a 27T. I'm not going to do it, but it is just an idea when strong enough gears come out for the MLST.

I seem to have found a solution. I got some aluminum diff cases and after going throug a few viscous sets and a few 3Racing Delrin diff rings I might have actually got it right. I wanted to try the Atomic ball diff, but it souldn't fit in the diff case (Aluminum and stock). I changed the plastic diff ring with the steel one and I was so sure that was the set up, but it seems that the plastic ring gear fits the 3Racing ball diff and it is working good so far. I will eventually get the guts to grind down about 0.5-1mm from the aluminum diff case to install the Atomic diffs.

speaking of the 7000k Wraith I ran one in a RC18 with a Mamba 25 and a 1800 3 cell lipo, it had a very short life span, fried the esc all the shrink wrap melted

I think that motor is a bit much for that ESC. I went with the Quark 33 when I had my MLST and had no problems running that motor (other than diffs).

I will be using the Mega ACn16/15/1 (9200Kv) or the Neu 1107/1.5D (8500Kv) in a Sportwerks Recoil.

I believe if I had used a 2 cell instead itwould have been better, but I know what you mean about going through diffs, I spent a lot of my free time assembling ball diffs I always made sure I had plenty of spares in my tool box

I find the 2 cell LiPo to be a bit much with the wraith 7k actually. But it makes for a lot of fun. I also run aluminum diff cases, and the viscous diffs don't fit too well in them. By the time you have the diff pinion shimmed correctly, the stub shaft doesn't come out of the case far enough to securely attach the drive cup.

I had a much better go at it with the MLST2 diffs, shimmed up correctly.
