On/Off switch on 9920?

Does anyone know if and how can i put an on/off switch on my warrior 9920?

You can sort of make a switch, but all it does is turn the BEC on and off. Just take a regular switch from Radio Shack (or similar). Cut the red receiver wire. Put the switch between the two ends on the cut receiver wire. Turning it on will allow the controller to be "turned on" as it will get a radio signal. A little power from the battery will still be used by the controller with this.

If you use an external battery source to power the receiver/servo, then do the same to the wire on the source. It will give the 9920 a radio signal or it will remove the radio signal (by powering the receiver or by cutting its power). The main battery will still be slightly used, as plugging it into the controller will still have it ON (just not doing anything).

Well i am using a ubec if that makes any difference. I actually want the contoller to be off with the switch so when i plug in my batts and clip on my body then i can just switch it on and go. Instead of running my truck and when the batts die taking the body off and unplugging the wires, kind of gets old.

You don't have got a choice i'm affraid..

the controller will always take some power from the batteries, so they will be drawn completely.. (nimh's can't stand that...)

A switch is not an option..

If you don't even like getting off the body, to unplug the batteries, i am concerned about the maintenence on your truck..

LOL, the condition of my truck is excellent, its cleaned just about every night. You have to admit its nice to have a switch on your esc's, its just convenient sometimes.

Well, no switch between the batteries and the esc, that's my suggestion..
Just route the cables, so you can acces them with the body on..

(or use modified bodyclips, but i am sure you allready are using those..)
