9xl endcap - 04.10.2008, 03:44 PM

I got a finned 9xl that was thrown with a trade and the endcap on the shaft end was seperated from the can. It looks like it just pops on the end and was held on with some type of JB Weld. Is there a way to put it back on the can securely? Since this is the end that bolts to the motor mount, it doesn't seem like JB Weld would be sufficent to hold it together.

No matter what you use as adhesive, I would fab up some lind of clamping mechanism if at all possible.

or at least some support for the rear of the motor to help support the load when landing jumps and such.

I can't decide if its more fun
to make it...
or break it...
