Markus "SL" 300A ESC .... WTF - 08.23.2008, 01:46 AM

I was surfing around and I came across this.

Unsure if this has been posted before. If so here it is again.

WOW see the price of it? That is more then my E-Revo. I understand it is for planes ... but 300 amps/6S with no fan. If was reliable and made in the USA (for the customer support) I would seriously think about getting it ...even at that price.

I tried to get Markus and another guy in Russia to make those monsters for cars, but no answer yet. I know they can go up to 400 or 450A.

Wow, that's a lot of amps!
It's usually cheaper to go higher in voltage and lower the amount of amps in a high power setup like that would be used in. I also don't know of a motor that would pull that many amps?

Ah, yeah they could, couldn't they?
In that big of a system though, I'd definitely go to a HV setup, but to each their own. Cause you'd probably have to run 2 or 3p to supply that many amps anyways...

HV is the way to go though.

The 300a one = 6600 watts Max cont

CC 110HV at 150 amps (which i remember hearing it will do) equals the same amounr of power with a cooler running setup. And cheaper.
