want a new controler - 08.31.2005, 06:56 PM

I got question. I see the more cell controllers have a limit on revs. I want to know if someone has a controller with out the low limits. I like to get some rpms out of the motor. The amperage shouldn't have to be that high. Motor is only rated at 74 amps. I like to try some more cells. Have a need for speed. :) LIke to try about 24 cells or so.

Peace!

Sorry. I didn't see this thread! I can get the 36 cell controllers without the rpm limit(in fact, I just got two for other customers). The 36/95 controller should be about $400. The big Lehner motors(2280 series) are about $475. It would be a couple weeks for the motor, but the controllers are in stock as far as I know.

What is price difference in the 36 95 and 36 120. If not much. I would rather have over kill. That away if i step up on motor i can. I can wait on a bigger motor. Just like to try more cells. I like to see 60s mph. Not sure why just do. I think I need help. :)

The controllers are listed. The motors are not. I will work on getting the motors listed as a pre-order item, if possible. You could PM me or, even better, e-mail me when you want to order and I will get them for you.

thanks mike. I wait on motor. I have a runnible motor. How many cells can a pack a 14 l? I think it is like 1700 or so kv. Not sure on rpm limit. Have a 9xl to. It has like 1800 kv. Both should be able to take 20 some cells.

9xl would be a nice choice. 6s or 7s Lipo would be pretty peppy with the 9xl!
