Castle link with my V2 MMM dead? - 08.19.2008, 08:07 PM

Well I got V2 MMM and just about to get it setup and I couldn't get the link to work...GRRR! It it always red when connected to the PC and does not show in my computer devices, i've try all possible things, got latest link software too 3.11. Could the link be bad? do castle replace it for free? talk about bad luck, but for one the link is bad and not MMM...hhehe

Try running the installation disc again or download the castlelink programme from fresh. I had trouble installing mine, but then again, I always do with any kind of external device...

Did you by any chance disable the BEC on the MMM? It gets it's brains power from the link with no batteries attached...

no I didn't do anything to the MMM, just hook up the link and its not even regconized on the PC, just stay red all the time. I also took my Mamba-25 esc and connect to it but didn't work either. In my computer devices manager, there is nothing there when normally it would show phx-link as with the link I sold last week.

You had a working one and sold it just before you got a broken one. Ouch, that's some bad luck. Sorry to hear it.

Yep bad luck for sure, the only reason I sold it is because i thought i could use the one that comes with the V2 MMM, obviously never thought about getting a dead link for sure. I hope castle will replace it for me, now i got a MMM just to look at :((

Give Tech support a call tomorrow if you have a chance. They might be able to help you resurrect the Link. If not, we'll send you a new one.
