Good tyres for 40S? - 10.20.2005, 02:34 PM

Looking for some good tyres for 40 series wheels.

I like the boe-ties but do they wear too quickly? (So hard compound not soft)

I will be mainly running on concrete and off-road just grass and dust roads, so not looking for something really hardcore off-roading style.

They need to be lite too, any recomendations?

I was enthusiastic when i opened this thread.. I thought you where looking for tires that can handle a 40S setup....

I would take the bowties in your case. Or the road rages can be pretty spectacular on grass too.. :p

It handles really well now, with MSR5 shocks and Gorilla it's a dream, although it is abit on the heavy side, you can definatly feel that going around corners! :)

Hence why I need lite tyres for the Velocity wheels, trying to loose weight. I am thinking of the single conversion too but after that, I don't know how else I can make it more lite.

A 40s setup would be like the bomb. Squeeze trigger and it goes off. :D I got a set of crime fighters coming. If you give me a little while nick I can let you know.

Peace!
