banebot 775 motors to replace titans in an e-revo? - 10.08.2008, 07:50 PM

I just purchased a pair of banebots based on some recomendations on the traxxas forum. The motor shaft is 5mm and plann to bore out a pair of my extra stock traxxas 19T pinions to fit, but found out that the motor plate and the reverse motor housing holes for the end bell on the motors are too small.

I'd like to keep the motor plate and motor housing stock and either by a modified plate, like that offered by Kershaw Designs, or buy a stock plate and modify it to fit the banebots.

We miss you Neil over in the traxxas forum and know that you could answer this question faster than I can type it.

Is anyone running banebots in their e-revos? If so, were you able to modify (i.e. dremel the stock housing) to fit the big fat end bells?
