Thumbs down Having very bad luck with CC service... - 09.04.2008, 09:38 AM

I sent my MM in 7/8/08, got the confirmation postcard ages ago, got a reply to an email 8/22/08 saying this:
Ian,

We have received your Mamba Max and we were unable to repair it, so it had to be scrapped. At this time we are currently out of stock on the Mamba Max, so there will be a slight delay. As soon as we get a new batch of produced, we will be sending you a brand new replacement. It appears it will be 1 1/2 to 2 weeks before the next batch is completed. I apologize for the delay and the lack of communication, but we will get this resolved as quickly as possible. Please let me know if you have any questions or concerns.

It's been about 2 weeks, and still nothing. I'll wait until later today and then call in to see WTF is up.

I would imagine MM production could have slowed because of MMM problems.

Thomas is a good guy. I have talked to him several times and he has always been straight with me. I wouldn't hesitate to give him a ring.

That looks like good customer service to me- they could have just ignored your emails and left you hanging indefinately... Given the MMM situation, I wouldnt be suprized if the MMs and other escs were getting overlooked somewhat.

So they told you on 8/22 that it would be up to 2 weeks before the batch was completed, and now it's not even 2 weeks later and you expect it to be delivered? What else do you expect in terms of service? They are already sending you a brand new ESC, sounds like they cannot be any more helpful than that.

I'd like to add that this should have been posted in the Castle section, you'd probably get a more appropriate response there.

While I generally stay out of threads like this, I can certainly understand why BL_RV0 is frustrated. Never once has the castle site said repair leadtime would be 8+ weeks while his ESC has been in for repair.

I understand that Castle has had issues with the MMM, but it almost appears that they have alienated the users of their other products while dealing the MMM issues. Someone having to wait 8+ weeks for a replacement ESC is pretty ridiculous IMO.

I think that people here did notice that Castle creation is somewhat hidden , no post for few day here and on rcgroups,
They are probably very busy with all recent trouble.
They do have new firmware for phoenix line to support, MMM component issue, production struggle (it's seem so) and probably new product on the work as well.

We need more assembly lines. Seriously though getting a new one is good news. You could be out a controller completely with some of the other companies.
