I'm not to familiar with the supermaxx stuff but I love the chassis and motor mount...looks killer. The chassis set up including the suspention and all the centraly located electronics looks wicked. What chassis is that? I'm oozing with envy...and I normally dont get that way...lol.

That is truly a work of art! Amazing truck!

I really like the design of that chassis, its so narrow, it seems like that truck would handle great!

Setup - 09.02.2008, 12:55 AM

That is a very interesting setup, what chassis is that? We can see that most of your truck is UE gear, but that chassis setup is something new. Is that some kind of new UE hybrid, or did you have that made yourself? Nice clean look with the motor mount for direct drive. So is the motor pinion going to drive a gear mounted directly to the rear drive shaft? Come on share some tech info with us.

Holy Crap Batman that is one version that I have not seen before. Anyone out there know what brand of chassis this thing is? I like the concept of having the single drive shaft for both diffs. Someone must have made that up custom. So hurry up and get the project finished so we can see how it handles. Nice ride man.

In RC that is a direct drive from the motor to the spur. In other words, he's not using a transmission. I know what you mean by direct drive though. In planes direct drive means just that, a motor that directly powers the prop. Other direct drive will be what a few people here have done, by not having a spur gear at all. So the motor is directly putting power into the diffs. RC can be complicated sometimes .
