t tiger eb4 s2 conversion - 10.22.2008, 12:43 AM

this is my first attempt at a conversion note that is by no way complete yet
need to make battery tray to suit zippy r lipo , clean up wiring and front/ rear braces and put on side plastic

i just could not wait for mikes mount to come out for the eb4 so i did as every else does and made one myself
so just slapped in the electrics to have a go and see how she went
she is noisy with the steel spur gear i think ill try a plastic one the noise is irritating
minor problems are pinion comes off now and again yes it has a flat on the shaft

front wheels spin a bit more than id like seems a lot of the power is going up front as there is little weight there maybe try different diff fluids
any help is appreciated

some info of what im running

thanks brian for your calc

Buggy looks great so far! Nice job! Are you putting locktite on the grub screw of the pinion gear? If not, then that is your problem. Just put a little on the thread of the grub screw, and the problem of the pinion coming off should go away. Just make sure its blue locktite, and NOT red.
