They are getting rarer by the minute. I just sold mine a few months ago and have seen several people looking for them since. Good luck.

You'd probably be better off modding things to use a common Revo-style slipper setup (or similar). It would probably take a bit of work, but getting replacement parts (pads, etc) will be MUCH easier...

I was able to buy some from the UE forum. Did you post over there?

+1 for what he Brian said. But if you really want a strobe slipper you can make your self a red neck clone . but this* RRP spur (they come in all the standard trx sizes so you can fine one for your what? Emaxx?) and follow these# instructions. Slap the two together and presto! you have a red neck clone. enjoy

Will a MGT double disc system work on the gorillamaxx single speed? What pitch is the MGT spur?

NO,the one for the mgt it won't work.(your talking about the RRP one right?) The gears are to small and the pich is different, it's mod 1 compared to 32p. RRP sells a kit for the t maxx, just buy the right spur gear ring and your good to go.

http://www3.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin...?&I=LXBJB6&P=7 and the spur:http://www3.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin...?&I=LXBJB7&P=7

Now, RRP list these gears as ''nitro'' but the emaxx and tmaxx use the same gears..... Here's the others.http://www3.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin...RP&S2=&S3=&S4=

The MGT spur will work with the traxxas double slipper plate. I don't know if you have installed it yourself but I have done it before. For the record, the MGT spur is mod 1 even though Tower lists it as 32P. I have 2 of them in my parts bin as backup to the 2nd Strobe slipper I bought from TexasSP a couple of months ago.

And to make it lasts longer, use AE diff balls instead of the traxxas slipper pegs.

AE Steel diff balls

AE Carbide diff balls

I can take pictures of the MGT 52T spur gear mounted on my spare emaxx tranny next to my spare Strobe slipper just to prove my point.

MGT 49T spur

MGT 46T spur

Are you talking to me? My brother owns mgt, I noticed a resemblance between the trx slipper and mgt slipper but I never bother to see is they were interchangeable....I thought I said the mgt spurs were mod 1?

heh - yeah, as time goes on, that's less and less true. i sold my extra one a year or so ago, and they were hard to come by then! plus, extra pads are even more rare. good luck.

2 have been sold on ebay in the last several days. One even ended with no buyers. It was scarfed up fairly quick once it was relisted.

Keep looking though.
