Looking to buy a RCM Hot Bodies motor mount - 11.15.2008, 01:14 AM

So I have a project and maybe the lsp mount will fit? It is a HB lightning street which is basically a 1/8 buggy with a stretched chassis, considered 1/7 scale.

I am wondering if the hb lsp or buggy mount will work... I have a feeling the LS shares the same bulk with a HB buggy... So I guess the buggy mount may work...

If someone could measure the distance from the chassis to the center of the diff it would be helpful, and the bolt spacing where the mount attaches to the chassis.

Thanks guys!

Ok, after looking in the rcm store it appears that Mike only makes one HB mount, for the lsp... So I guess that would be a good place to start?

I do have a couple "modified" kyosho buggy mounts, James - the HB buggy is identical to the KYO buggy with the exception of different spacing on the top of the bulk(for the top plate). A KYO buggy motor mount with matching KYO top plate and front bulk would also work. :)
