Toys for tots Race-Thunder Alley-Electric 8th Scale Class - 11.26.2008, 01:51 AM

Hey everyone, just want to put the word out about the upcoming Toy for Tots race at Thunder Alley Raceway in Beaumont, CA, on Sat. Dec. 6th. They are going to be running an 8th scale e-buggy class for sure, and if enough racers show up an e-truggy class as well. Here's the link for the flyer. It's going to be 15min mains (maybe less, but no longer than 15min), no rules on the battery and motors so it's wide open. If you're in SoCal come on out so we can have good a showing and generate more interest in the large scale electric class. The Tekno RC team will be there racing and raffling/giving away their new conversion kits and possible some other goodies so one more reason to come check it out!

It's a good deal, you bring toys and they give them away to disadvantaged children. But fyi: no matter how many toys you bring, nobody there has any tater tots. I'd hate for someone to make the same mistake I did......
