Thanks Shaun - 12.15.2008, 08:50 PM

Big thanks to Shaun for shipping the items you see in the pictures. Some of these include an almost new GS SUT truggy conversion, Revo parts, tires (2.2, MT 40 Series), truck bodies and much more. They will be distributed to the guys around here. The only parts I'll be keeping are some for the revo. The package actually arrive on the Nov 25th which is the same day we left for our vacation.

I just picked up my Kyosho ST-RR and currently doing the conversion while I'm still on leave until this coming Sunday. Back to work again on Monday and this time will be working onboard the USS George Washington.

Anyway, many thanks again and I know the guys will be thrilled to see what you're giving them. I still don't know who I'm going to give the truggy to .

Pics:

I'll post more pics later. I'm just too exicted to finish the ST-RR conversion.

Here's some pics of the GS SUT Shaun sent to me. It will be given to one of my sailors here. I just need to pick who is the most deserving.

Side by side with my ST-RR.

I made a smaller/narrower ESC mount for my ST-RR using the ESC mount of the SUT as a template.

i was wondering what ever happened to my GS truggy shaun....looks like you got some good use out of it, is that a broken tray? looks like you replaced alot fo the harware to hex also.

you ever break anyhting else? i also didnt know the radio tray would swap to the kyosho.....

i broke your 808 front tower, front diff bulkhead, right 808 tierod, right c-hub and the right arm......on the xray saturday, i guess 65 feet long and 15 feet high lawn darts are rough on stuff. surprisingly the RC8t survived the same jump 6 times, (its did land on its wheels everythime, so ill call it a tie....)

I could go for a new truggy...
I broke my nose today.
I'll tell you how.
Well as you probably don't know, I broke my hip about 3 weeks ago. I can sort of hobble around but I usually stay in the wheelchair. Anywho, during off-season cross country everyone was playing knockout. I got hit with a basketball from 4 feet or so away and, long story short, broke my nose.... Haven't had too good of a month in terms of being hurt...

xray is already is pieces to ascess the damage ill get a shot of the diff bulkhead tomorrow, im bending the shock tower back straight tomorrow and ive got a spare tierod and arm front the bag of extras you sent with it. ill get a new c hub when i order the diff bulk head.

ALL that matters is the 808 shocks survived with out a scratch!!!!!

so did you break anything on the GS or not? was thinking of snatching one up for bashing. after christmas and my birthday is over.......seemed like a well built truck to me with all the right features to be tough, just needed some bigbores and good 17mm hubs instead of the extensions, and ofcourse metric hex hardware instead of phillps heads screws everywhere.
