just got back from my LHS and saw that the slash, rustler, and stampede, are now coming with the traxxas 6-cell battery and a traxxas charger. it says that as an upgrade you can buy traxxas's 7-cell battery. it has two different mah's available. ill see if i can go back and get pics

im sure its good for starter batteries.

i remember when i first started RC i loved the old school epic 3000 packs! 20 bucks and they would last for 7 minutes instead of 2 minute 1500 radio shack packs.

in my opinion traxxas is the best company for newcomers.

i cant hate that they are selling 7 cell overpriced packs as an upgrade.

kids have fun with them and thats all that matters
