540 motors - 01.15.2009, 04:52 PM

Hi, sorry this is such a noob question but are the dimensions of 540 motors all the same apart from can length? For example the distance between and diameter of the mounting holes?

Depends on the brand. Almost all motors that have similar to 540 diameter have m3 thread mounting holes that are spaced 25mm apart. So All neu 15 series, feigao 540 size, all medusa 36 series, all novak (save for the little mongoose motors), all 540 and 550 brushed motors....

Might want to ask us if you have a specific motor in question...

Neu 15 series is bigger. The new Neu 1400 series are 36mm. The Neu 15 series should fit in most anything though...

As paralized said, the mounting holes are 25mm apart and the motor is 41mm in diameter or something like that. Check the Neu motor website.... ah heck
