putting on own balancer connector - 01.19.2009, 05:47 AM

I was thinking of swapping out new batteries balancers connector plug to align style, so it will be easier to charge all my batteries. I'm doing this to 2s lipos, so there will only be 3 wires. The only problem is i don't know where does the wire go. which terminal and all that. An example are these batteries.

Align taps are ususally color coded. The red wire is the main pos and the wire at the other end of the tap is the main neg. Measure across the outside wires with a voltmeter to determine polarity on the pack, or maybe the pack has a red wire indicating the polarity. The center wire in a 2s tap just goes on the center wire coming out of the pack.
