E-revo mmm temps - 01.17.2009, 04:09 PM

motor= 112
esc = 109
lipos = 105

E-revo geared 21/56 . MMM 2200 combo. Speed runs on pavement, running through grass ect 15-20 mins. temps look good to me just seeing what you guys think. according to the calc. should be geared for around 41 mph.

lol man call us when its late spring and the gearing seems off because your motor hits 212*, you're looking fine for now, that is an agressive gearing. Id throw it to 5s to back it up or gear down for nancy 4s

What tires are you useing phil ? Also I dont see you temps going up to much when it warms up. Great temps! Also where in N.C. are you? Im on the Outer Banks.

It was 29*F here today and mine geared for 40.33 on 4s hit 137*F on the motor and 102*F on the batteries(20mins of running in the yard). Geared 20/58 with 6.3inch tires. It only hits 38.6mph under the radar. I guess its servere voltage dropp??? I will hate to see my temps this summer

Its weired b/c with the stock talon tires geared 22/58 (41.54 from the calc) hit 41.5 under the radar and got around the same temps. I guess tire weight has alot to do with motor temps(stock tires= 8oz, new tires= 11oz) Thats why I asked about the tires
