Looks nice! Are you making a body for it or buying something pre made like one of the proline ATV bodies?

It's got a Banshee look to it. Other than the single pipe.

Looks like a fun build.

Hi Guy's, I didnt build it I just bought it from John Flannery owner of modifiedrc, John is a master craftsmen who spend almost 2 years on this thing and when I saw it I made him an offer and we finally settled on 3 grand. I got the thing and spent 2 days cleaning and detailing it and getting rid of some funky looking colored zip ties and all the blue hardware. I also adjustened the toe in and camber and made sure the shocks were topped of with fluid. It uses a proline razor back quad body, the green body that came with it was to ugly so I tossed it out and bought 3 more clear ones one of which is getting a red fourtrax honda paint scheme done to it. Anyway here is Johns build thread http://www.rcgroups.com/forums/showthread.php?t=496832

I just skimmed through his build thread... It's just amazing the amount of time/effort he put into that creation. $3000 was a good deal! Any plans for BL? Is it possible?

Looking at his build Bl would definately be possible. I am actually thinking a large outrunner may work better due to the chassis width. Battery mounting my be an issue though...

Still a killer build. I really like it!

No brushless set up will work, there just isnt enough room for a battery. The atv is in mint shape and was never driven and I will never drive it, he did throw in a new proline stunt steve rider that I will paint to match the body.

The battery would have to be a very small 10-15 pack like the ones used in 18th scale buggies and it could go in between the frame rails just under the seat, the quad weighs 9 pounds rtr. The os max cv .18 is so nice looking sitting in it that it would be tough yanking it out and since I'm just going to shelf it there wont be a need to convert, I'm sure there are great tuber guy's out there that could build me a brushless friendly chassis.

Wow that thing is sweet! Reminds me of some of the old kyosho 4-wheelers. So much detail.

Thanks guy's but Its just to nice and rare to toss in the dirt with all those little rocks. I may someday get a wild hair up my ass and putt it around on some grass but ya know...some things werent meant to be bashed..I have toys for that...One more thing, in order to get the guy to sell it to me I had to promise not to go run it...I dont think he wanted 2 years of his lifes work being tore up and destroyed at some gravel pit. And as far as converting it to brushless..well...I just about convert everything to brushless, I think I'll leave this alone besides this aint some POS thunder tiger engine here its an OS and they run!

I am with you on this, I am so bad that I buy used stuff just so I don't care if I scratch it up or get it dirty!

I still have a brand new flm tranny forward savvy that I built about 1 yr ago. Everything is new on it... and I have never even powered it up...

Maybe fire the quad up and do some runs on the street for a vid, if you can find a clean open lawn (baseball feild) it would be cool to see it run... But i would not bash it either. I would copy the design in welded tube to make a basher though... wsih you were closer as i would take some measurements...
