Hippies Brushless 1/8 Mugen MBX4 - 11.06.2005, 07:20 PM

I got to see Hippies Buggy today. Took some pictures of it. It was really nice! Looks fantastic and ran great also!

This was very cool. Here is a picture of the spur gear adapter plate that was made by Mike.

I like the purple aluminum diff holder. Did that come on the buggy or you pick that up extra? If extra where? That is a clean looking buggy. Make me want to finish mine up.

Peace!

Nice looking buggy, Mike! Looks like it should work quite well! I particularly like the diff adapter. ;)

Thank's guys:D . That is a mugen MBX4, mike made the custom adapter plate to hold the ofna 51t plastic spur on the mugen diff. Yes squee that is the buggy i got for letting someone drive my DVO:L: . COOLHAND that is the stock diff holder . The radio box is a rpm box for the rc10gt, i cut it down a 1/2 inch for a better fit. With 14 cells it weighs as much as a nitro buggy.

I would persoally like to thank the following people for there help.
JACK MILES for the pics
MONSTER MIKE for the diff plate, & help
DAFNI for advice on motor & gearing
SERUM for advice on motor & gearing.

Looks great! How does it hold up against the nitro buggies?

On 12 cells it holds it's own :L: . On 14 cells it should be INSANE :D .

Today it had a 9L in it. My 7XL will be here tommorow, so gearing will not be a problem any more.

Wow, very slick conversion, but the buggy as a whole looks great too! Makes me wish I had mine going, and also think about getting a 7xl to take the 2800xl's place, sooooo tempting.......:D

That's one GREAT conversion Hippie!

Mike, could you get me one of those adaptors as well? That diff has got the size of a HB lightning right? All the colors etc. combine perfectly. Top-Notch

Nice buggy, Hippie!! Good job.

Mine looks similar, just black instead of purple. You made me wanna make a thread about mine.

And Jack also did an awesome job on those pics, btw.
