What kv is the motor and how much voltage do you want to run?

Neu, Polyquest, and flightpower are some of the best. Anyone with enerland cells. I'm guessing you don't have too much of a budget if you can afford that huge motor.

6s 6000 polyquest will be about the only thing that will keep up...

Or you can run a pair of 6s packs in parallel. Something like 3200-3700 cells...

You will want a pair of packs in parallel. I would do a pair of 6s 4500 30c flightpower/polyquest packs is parallel for 9000 30c.

Would the Flight Power 4500 30c 6s lipos mentioned in this http://www.rc-monster.com/forum/show...light=lstbuild thread be sufficient?

Same as what the Pimp mentioned, so those should be ideal. 1/6 scale you say? What exactly are we dealing with?..

Those would be what you would want to use, but you will need 2 of them, as I can pull one very hard in the lst and it is much smaller and lighter than a 1/6 scale.

Very good lipos, I would recommend them to anyone.

I don't think 8s would be a bad idea with a 6th scale. You could run 2 4s in a series. You would need a different controller though..
