RC-monster revo mount not fitting -

i bought one of mikes revo mounts off here from another member,i installed a finned 1515 and the rear support doesnt fit,my guess was its only for smooth cans and ill have to dremel it,am i correct or am i missing something
 ? thanks.--josh
