I am looking at one for my REVO conversion,....yes, Revo, and was wondering if anyone has modded one. I want to make it bullettproof as I can


1. MBX-6 T8 1900KV, RX8 ON 4S
2. MBX-5T 1520, MMM ON 5S
3. MBX-5 ONROAD CONVERSION 1515, MMM ON 5S
4. MRX-3 ON ROAD CONVERSION 1512, MMM ON 6S
5. TEN T 2650 T8, MMP ON 3S

The new trannys seem to be holding up well. As much as I'm on here I haven't seen anyone complaining about blowing one. I would like to see a half case like the G-Maxx single speed cover for the original. It is a pretty big transmission and most of it is unneeded.

I dont think there are any mods, just throw a little grease in there to quiet down the gears... Only thing that would make them stronger is throw them in this case.. LINK to Ebay

ive seen a few break the cases but never any gears or shafts

Can anyone tell me if the mounting sides sit correct on the gorilla maxx chassis's, If so, i could drill and tap that. (I know Linc will get some fun out of that)

People here hate Nitro, I love it. I start it, run it about 50 ft from me and it dies, I go after it. Perfect exercise

Anywayyyyy...

No, wont fit the old Gmaxx chassis as the tranny is narrower, and mounting points are closer together- hence the mounting adaptor sold by FLM briefly...
