I believe this was brought up on the e-savage.com forums and they were compared to ammo motors. About the efficiency of a feigao I think. Around 800 watts.

like he said, good for about 800 watts. similar to an "L" feigao. would work good for a 1/10 scaler

I ran the older aquacraft motor and it only liked 4s, got real hot on 5s. Tried it in an emaxx and a ls10. Seemed to need the watercooling. Lots of torque though. If you want 6 pole get a mega, better motor.

6 pole motors are good for boat use because as you add poles they become more picky with their sweet spot and boats usually maintain RPMs pretty well. It should work in a 1/10th and for $60 I imagine it's not a bad motor (especially if you put a RC-M heatsink clamp on it) but I'd rather spend a little more on a MedUsa motor.

I'd tend to agree, for the extra $45 you will have a Much better motor. (medusa)

Thats a torquey little motor and they run the hell out of the boat it comes in, the Aquacraft UL1.

However, in a car, I wouldn't put it in anything bigger than 1/10th because of the lack of motor mass. But I don't know how many people want to run a 2030kv motor tho. Definitely need 4s and some gearing.
