Question ? about C-rate. Any EEs here? - 04.01.2009, 10:43 PM

There is a question about changing C-rate depending on how two battery packs are wired. This is above my head and I am curious about the answer:

If I can get an answer I know it will be someone on this site...?

Thanks

C rate doesn't change regardless of how the packs are wired. Only voltage or capacity change based on series or parallel wiring.

C rating doesn't change but if you put in parallel capacity doubles and hence supported amp draw doubles.

Yep. What they said. "C" rate is a constant.
