Led tv - 04.05.2009, 09:23 PM

So I was in Best Buy over the weekend just browsing around seeing what the latest stuff is out and I came across a Samsung LED Tv and it was amazing how good the picture was and how thin the screen was ( about 1"). It is a type of LCD with a picture that blows away a DLP, Plasma and LCD. I own a 60" Samasung DLP and I was thinking "That LED looks a lot better than mine" but it was pricey.....$2800 for a ...46" and $3800 for a 55".....I ll wait a couple of more years to get one. At least my Tv is finally paid for.....

and a positive note the LED Tv uses 0nly 40% of the power as a standard LCD Tv does

Cool! I'm gunna get some more info on those. I suppose it's like those huge screens at concerts with tiny leds. Those three colors. I looked at my ipod under a relativly low power microscope and I was able to see it looked like a led screen. You could see the area of a pixel with three little lights at the top.

Samsung along with other manufacturers should also have some OLED displays coming out soon that draw little power, have amazing picture quality, and are thin and light compared to the tvs currently available.
