Got an e-mail from Joe Ford saying not to expect it for a long time. Most likely it won't come out this year.

Ugg, that's not too promising. CC had "soon" as the release date for the MMM and it took at least a year. So I wonder what kind of timeframe "not for a long time" translates to? Hopefully, they push this project along before another ESC maker beats them to the punch.

A 10s-12s HW150 HV would be cool.

Guys...prototypes don't even exist yet. Drop it til you see "it's out"...otherwise you're just going to get frustrated and we aren't going to move any faster.

Good to know. Would you be dropping the FETs onto the Monster board and be releasing a similar product except higher voltage capacity, slightly redesigned (like Phoenix HV-85 to 110 or something), or will it be a completely new design?

From what Patrick told me at RCX, the HV MMM will use the same case as the current MMM and will therefore be the same size.

That sounds great but has anyone here been following this thread in the brushless section http://www.rc-monster.com/forum/showthread.php?t=13659 we might not be waiting that long for a high amp HV ESC after all

Considering the MMM can be had for about $150, I'd expect the 8s one to be $200-$250. IMO that's an excellent price for what you'd get. If they are going to build a Mamba Giant 12S ESC I'd guess $300-$400.

I dont think that price would be unreasonable. Considering the price we pay for MGM, and schulze ESCs with all their quirks and in some aspects how agricultural they are an MMM that could handle 8,10 or 12s and be easy to tune, the only thing missing would on board data logger and program box
