Programming question - 01.24.2006, 12:45 AM

I have the BK18120 and I was wondering if there were different programs that regulate the output of the motor. I remember the Hacker controllers had this option so I was wondering if the BK's were the same. If so, what are they and what do I need to do? Also I have no brakes. My maxx has to roll to a stop before it'll go in reverse.

And also, would 16cells on the 9L with the 18120 controller be pushing it or what?

16 cells on the 9l will shorten its life and isnt recommend because you would be pushing the limits of the motor.

If you don't have brakes, you are probably not in car mode. Try re-programming it. The controller can take 16 cells, but the motor will be overworked.

I have not found this current limiter. They have some parameters you can change. I am not sure if this would help you or not. You need the program cable for this. Are you running the micro or warrior.

I'm running the micro version. If I'm not in car mode how do it program that? I did the program method as stated in the sticky post up top of the BL section.

not program mode. It is a program cable. I find it in the shop and post it for you. Show you what you need.
